Dosing Kalk

Those of you who dose kalk/limewater, do you follow the directions and mix it in a bucket, let it sit, and than only use the water in the middle of the bucket?

I have been just adding a teaspoon and a half of kalk into a 1 gallon water jug full of RO/DI, and shaking the hell out of it and slowly adding the kalk water throughout the day.

I usually pour mine through a filter before I put it in the drip jug.That way I get more water and less of the crap.

I got some of those Rena canister filter floss,from when I used to run a canister.I just stick the floss in a funnel and pour the kalk throgh that,into my drip jug.
