I've been browsing this and other forums for over 5 years, and now I'm Going to dive into it. Comments and critiques welcomed!

So, I got a piece of ive rock that is very porus yesterday and the first thing I noticed was that I have 2 or 3 mini brittle star fish living in it, and it had a astrea snail as well.... I was excited, but then I remembered, I haven't started the cycle yet.....:/ and then I saw them. Bristle worms. At least 10-20 of them. they are moving to my other rocks.

I have never lost anything to bristle worms that was not dead or dying, they get a bad rap because people see them scavenging the dead and they assume that the bristle attacked their prized inhabitant. Truth be told the bristle worm is one of the best members of the CUC.

I've read that they were decent scavengers, but I think they might be fire worms. At least I think they are, and the thought of venom is unpleasant. Ill try to get a picture for the identification forum, though I haven't seen any since my ammonia levels have started to rise as my cycle begins.
