DSLR Best setting with LEDS

Ok so i noticed when taking pics they kinda glow purple ish with the DSLR what would be the best setting to use on it to look more like they actually look to the human eye when shooting under LEDS ?


I have a Nikon D40 Not the best but i still love it.

Jack your white balance up as high as it will go. Nikon typically has a 10000k max. I wish it was more because I still have to adjust further in Lightroom afterwards. Olympus can go to 14000k.
