Dying Brain Coral

FishyReef

Broke Reefer!
Another casualty of my tiny tank debacle :( My symphillia brain has lost about 2/3rds of its tissue over the last few days. I finally decided today to move it to my 90 in a last ditch effort to save it. I've dipped it in coral rx and am going to place in on the sand bed in an area of low-med flow and bright light (but on the bottom so not super intense light). Is there anything else I can do for it to try to save it?

It's LPS, so if there's any remaining tissue, there's still hope. But other than what you've already done, I can't think of anything else. Just do the basics, water quality, good light, and maybe some cyclopeeze if you can still see a mouth to feed....

That sucks. I have a brain that had a pie shaped (small) section die from Cyano and it seems to be getting bigger over the last months.
