Easier way to add new water to my tank

currently I'm pouring the mixed water straight into the tank because I can'tmake a siphon. The tank is higher then my pail of water and Idon't have a submersible pump to pump water back into the tank.

Wen I pour the water tend to sir up sand even if I'm being careful.

Anyone have any ideas?

You can get a maxijet for 25 bucks, and some flexible hose for a few bucks more.

I was refering to putting water back in my tank during water changes. How would that work with a maxijet. isn't that a flow pump that just pumps air.

No, there is no pump that flows air. They all flow water.
Just toss it in your bucket with the tubing attached to the outflow on the maxijet and the other end of the tubing in your tank. Then plug in the maxijet and watch it do the work for you. If you want to get fancy you can attach a cheap ball valve to the end of the tubing to help keep the mess down when you are done filling.

+1 Dennis. I use a MaxiJet with some rubber hose from the hardware store attached to it also.
