Emerald crabs

I bought 2 emerald crabs and they are about 1/2" big and after I put them in they are gone how long will it be till they grow big enough for me to find them?

Even when large, they are incredibly good at hiding, so you wont see the often

I think of it as a game when I try to find mine. Sometimes he's in plain sight but blended in so well. Great invert to have

I never see my emerald crab but I know it is alive because every now and then I would see the molts floating about the water.
And for sure, dead crabs don't molt :)
