Eric's 90g AGA Build

Just wondering if your going to make like a raised section in the middle where the tank is to cover the border at the bottome of the tank ?? that way it will match the rest ??

Looking good, you setting up a refug with it? And what type of set up are you going? Fish only, FOWLR, or a reef?

Yes I'm planning on using a refugium. I'm thinking of using the sump that I got with the tank and then attacking a 20g tank to it for the refugium unless I can find a 40g breeder that I can make into a sump/refugium. Not sure how I'm going to plumb everything si de I haven't given it much thought but once the stand and canopy are finished and everything is in my living room I'll start brainstorming about the plumbing lol and as far as what type of setup this will be a mixed reef.

I'm not sure of what you are asking but if its about covering the bottom trim of the tank, yes I will be adding some sort of moulding to cover it up so that all you see is the glass.

Time for another update. I got most of the stand finished today. Just need to stain it and move it to its final resting place (my living room).

Nice tank with wooden frame. The dark brown paint looking very nice on it. But whether this wooden frame survive with watered tank of 90 gallon size. It may be dangerous for paint and wood both as result of water humiliation.

I don't think I'll have any problem with the wood. I'm my previous setup which I had for over a year I never spill one drop of water on the stand. I'm very cautious when doing water changes or simply working in the tank. I'm sure it'll probably catch a few drops of water here and there but nothing major and if for some reason it gets damage it won't be hard to swap it out with a new frame around the bottom trim of the tank.

Just finished moving everything inside the house. Those tables will eventually be moved from there since they make everything look to clutter.

On a side note I wish I would of went with a satin look instead of semi gloss but its too late for that lol. I'll make sure to remember for the next build lol whenever that is.

Oh, thought they were magnets lol. And weird, most people prefer the look of semi-gloss or gloss. Satin is usually more of a outside type of finish. But hey, if that's what you like, go for it :)
