Fans

What fans do you all recommend? Im looking for something good, quiet and reliable. I dont mind spend a little cash on them if they are a quality product.

I use two computer fans from an old system which i threw away. Works great for me.

I have two $7 fans from Walmart. Don't know if they're quiet or not, since the sound of my skimmer drowns them out :).

Im just looking to keep the system as quiet as I can due to it being in our dining room. With the silencer on my bermuda all I hear is a very slight air hiss and Im thinking that when its under the stand I wont hear it at all.

That's what i use, 12 v DC. Just connect the wires correctly and the fans will work. They last a long time too...that fan has been working perfectly for a good 6 years and still going strong.

What do you need to change the AC over? a small power inverter? Find one at like radio shack or where?

lakers fans and atalnta brave fans... or if you want to try something origional how about some drunk european soccer fans. any of the above have high output :mrgreen:

just kiddin. i have just wired up 3 computer fans to a laptop power supply and drilled them to the canopy. worked out well and it was super cheap!

down at the bottom of this page is a 4 in ice cap fan that looks good when i have to get new ones i am getting these.
