Aug 24, 2012 #2 Waddi Shenanigans? I know that some corals can kinda change colour. I had a hammer that changed from a kinda tan to a green. Just guessed it was the lighting that effected how it grew or something like that... Hahah, I have no scientific explanation.

Aug 26, 2012 #5 RockStacker Reefing newb It could have imported some neighboring zooxanthellae, who knows. Or perhaps lost some and now the non-dominant residents are starting to flourish. Captive corals lose and gain color all the time depending on changes to their local growing conditions.
