My LFS got some HUGE Duster's in today, i mean a good 10 inches with a crown the size of an apple, only problem is the worm seems to be unhappy and is sticking about an inch out of his tube? What is his chance of survival?

I ask because there are 3 and I would like to buy at least 2 of them, with similar symptoms. I just don't want to buy 2 of these guys who are dead set on a suicide.

Don't featherdusters if they are unhappy with where they are put leave their tubes? Like if you just layed it on the bottom or something wouldn't it leave for greener pastures? I'm not sure about this though. I have only ever had Feather dusters as hitchhickers on LR.

Yeah, I'd be a little weary with that purchase. That is a sign that it may be severely stressing when its hanging out of the tube.
