Hey everyone, so I know that a sump with protein skinner is best but is there filtration that I could keep temporarily?

temporarily? is this a nano tank or smaller tank, I guess I am confused as to what you need a temp filter for
a sump is simply for more water mass and getting the heater and equipment out of a tank...they also house refugiums for microalgae

The best filtration will be your live rock and sand, and good water movement. It can be a temporary filtration that turns into a long term filtration, and back into temporarily.
