Fin Rot?

My Purple Firefish has one front fin that is is decayed a little and there is some white rot on the edge. There is also something white where the same fin meets his body. The fin on the opposite side is fine.

Usually bacterial infections like fin rot and pop eye are caused by less than perfect water conditions. I have found out pristine water conditions caused by frequent PWC`s helped tremendously.

STRESS is the root cause of infections in fish. Did you double check that temps and pH were pretty close when doing the waterchange?

The one fin is getting worse and it looks like it will kill him. ALL other fish are fine. The Purple Firefish's other fin is absolutely fine. I'm putting an anti-fungal in. All water parms look fine.

Also there is something red in the afflicted fin. The other fin has no red in it.

After many water changes and baths of Kick-Ich (WHICH CONTAINS AN ANTI-FUNGAL) although the fin still looks messed up.
