FOODS AND FEEDING - Meaty marine fare for carnivores, crustacean flesh, mysid shrimp, fresh/live and frozen preparations. Feed Daily.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Will feed on feather duster worms, hermit crabs, smails, and ornamental shirmps.
CAPTIVE CARE - Will act aggressively towards other bottom dwelling fish, will remove hermit crabs, limpets, turbo snails out of their shells to eat them, will knock snails off of rock and glass to attack them. This is a curious hawkfish with lots of personality, in a properly sized aquarium, well fed, it is a fun fish to watch. Keep only one per tank.
