So cheek is still swollen, hurting etc. But I'm going to the dentist tomorow so hopefully she knows whats wrong.

Anyway, its like the world knew exactly what I needed yesterday. I was feeling terrible with my abcess and whatnot then all the sudden there was a knock at the door. I went to answer it and it was my (almost) sister in-law. In her hands was the one of the cutest puppies I have ever seen. And she wanted me to have it.

My sister is a social worker, and once every 3 months she goes up to a native reservation to check if everything is ok. Well 2 days ago when she was there, she seen some kids throwing rocks at a little puppy. She told them to stop but one kid proceeded to pick her up and throw her off the top of a set of stairs. My sister had enough and picked up the puppy, gave the kids what for, and left. She flew back with her that night.

Anyway we took her to the vet to get her checked out. She has roundworm, and is bloated because of lack of proper food. She also has multiple sores on her neck and the left side of her mouth is swollen (LIKE ME ! :) ) . So we got pills for the roundworm (I am happy to say she pooped some out lol), and are going back for a whole checkup on monday.

The vet is pretty sure shes part wolf part german sheppard (Didn't suprise me since there are so many wild dogs and wolves up north), which I find quite amazing. I know someone who has wolf hyrbid dogs and they are the most loyal dogs I've seen.

Anyway here are some pictures of Sam (Samantha) :)
    Sorry if some are sideways.

That's great....It's definitely got those long wolf legs...I hate to think what I would do to a kid if I saw them throw a puppy down a set of stairs...I might try to see if they could land at the bottom of the stairs as well as the dog did.

Glad she found a new home.

What a lucky dog!! You guys did a good thing. One of my ex boyfriends got his cat because he was walking past a soccer field, and these kids had buried a stray cat up to its neck in the dirt and were taking turns kicking its head. It's incredible how cruel people can be and it sickens me to think about the ones that aren't found by good people like my ex boyfriend or your sister in law.
