Hey all just wanted to know what is the best kind of food for tangs,clowns, etc...

Variety.
I like Dainichi Pellets, Formula One and Two Flakes, Nori, and Rod's Food.
I'll also use some other random frozen cubes of mysis or whatever.
Definitely nori for the tangs, all the time. Mix up the rest.

For tangs, dried seaweed (nori) sheets. Some tangs prefer different brands and colors, you have to try a few to see what your fish like.
Other than that, I only use frozen food. I buy most of it at Petco or Petsmart; they have a good selection of frozen food for saltwater. Emerald Entree, Marine Cuisine, squid, fortified brine, mysis, krill, plankton, daphnia, tubifex worms, blood worms, etc. Rod's Food, oyster eggs and Cyclopeeze from my LFS round things out.
You don't need to buy all of these, of course. But variety is key -- having a few different types on hand and rotating through them is a good idea.
