Right now, I do not have a tank up and running, but I am planing EVERYthing out so that at the begining of the year, I will be able to start up with no kinks....

So, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for fish...

I was thinking about getting a firefish and a Manderine ....

Are they a good pair to start with....will they be ok in my 10gal?

(IDK if it makes a difference or not, but I will also have a 10gal sump)

IF not, can you suggest something?

i would not do a manderian unless it is eating frozen food and you see it eating it. fire fish are good some wrasses are good a hogfish but they eat crabs if you have any.

Get some star polyps, they look like grass waving in the ocean breeze...grow real easy. YOu need to get that tank cycling.......:zombie:

With a 10 gallon you'll have to be very selective with the fish you choose. A Mandarin will quickly decimate the population of pods in a tank that size.

Stay away from damsels in a 10 gallon. In that small of a space, they'll probably kill any other fish you try to add.
