RFD I would congratulate you but I see the thread is just for yote.
So I'll take it back... yote for just is thread the see I but you congratulate would I RFD. :D

Question- how do get the "unlive rock" to produce coraline and should I put the cleaning crew in or a few Damsels to kick things off?

Wait for the coraline and NO to the cleaning crew and Damsels....

If you want Yote's advice, "Just toss in some table shrimp to get things started. You can go to your local butcher/market and ask them if they can just give you a piece" Other people will tell you to just put in some flake/pellet food and let that decompose...the main idea here...don't use any live creatures to cycle only already dead ones

As for the coraline...don't do anything, just make sure you keep your water as perfect as you can, keep everything healthy and before you know it, you'll see little purple/green/red/etc. spots show up on your rocks/glass/in-tank-plastics. Once your tank is healthy enough to produce it on its own, there are ways to make it grow/spread faster (i.e. turn off your UV filter if you have one, take a firm toothbrush and scrub an especially purple section of rock, and a few others I can't think of at the moment :frustrat:)

Kids right on the cycling process.A raw table shrimp will get it started.
For the coralline, you'll have to add something thats already got coralline on it.A piece of live rock or something. Then just gently brush it with a hard bristled tooth brush to make it release spores that will attach and grow in other spots.
Be careful what you wish for though.I'm starting to hate the purple plague:grumble:

Ya got coraline NOW!! It will spread off that live rock and soon you'll be complaining about how much time you spend scraping it off the glass....... just like the rest of us.

Got 100 lbs of LR with some Colt, Green Palys and a few Leather- when I bought my other 120 gal. Need to make some room so I'm selling off some LR - got some great Fiji I'm keeping with the Tonga and One amazing piece that looks like a huge branch ( not in the tank yet) Gonna test the water this weekend and Set up my RO- then I'll start shopping!

Here is the tank with the Branch piece and a clearer shot of some of the coral.
