Fuge noob. Got a question

Going to set my sump with a fuge. I need to add some sand. If I use dry sand, will I cause a cycle? OR......Should I carefully remove top sand from the tank are relocate it adding sand back slowly instead?

Adding sand to a fuge should not cause a cycle. You aren't increasing the bio load or disrupting the current bacteria population.

I would use the dry sand. Like Beej said, it won't disrupt anything.
