Fujifilm s5000

Anyone know how to work this thing, its an older camera maybe 5 years at this point, but I feel the pictures it takes are no where near what they should be. Just wondering if anyone had a Fujifilm Camera close to this that could point me in the right direction to taking some good photos.

I have the s5000 and don't try to do anything fancy with it. I use it for regular pos shots and macro. The macro isn't the best, but it works for me. My best advise is to put it on a tripod or rest it on something to hold it steady when taking pics. Any little bit of movement will end up with blurry shots.
