So I did a water change and good tank cleaning on Tuesday. Today when the lights came on I noticed several of these bright lime green tubes. I watched all day to see if something would come out of them but they just hung there. They were not there on Tuesday and I have never seen them before. Just wanted to know if they are good guys or the kind I need to catch and dispose of right away. Thanks in advance :D

It's algae. Neomeris annulata to be exact. It usually does not live long, and does not spread to pest proportions.
