Galaxea vs anemone

All,
Will a new galaxea hurt an enemone or at least make the anenome move? I recently place a galaxea in tank and the sweepers are extended very far and close to an anenome so not sure to be concerned. love where the enenome has been perched for the last two months and hate to see him move. thanks

You're going to want to give the nem a pretty wide berth. I'd move the galaxea if I were you.

Yeah, i finally had to get rid of my Galaxea. It got so big and the tentacles reach so far, i no longer had a spot in my tank where it couldn't reach stuff nearby. It was killing anything it could touch. :(

Thank you all, it seems to be just out of reach of anything else right now but I will watch closely. It is absoutely a beautiful coral though, too bad it needs so much space. The current/flow where it is at helps keep the tentacles to one side giving me a little wiggle room on the opposite side.
