Can a Pistol shrimp or Mantis break a glass aquarium or acrylic??

Mantis can, and have been known to.

I highly doubt a pistol shrimp breaking a glass tank.A decent sized mantis probably could.But I think the shrimp would probably need to in the 4 to 7 inch long range to have that kind of strength.

Here is a full 17 minute video of Sheila Patek at showing how they found out that the mantis shrimp is the fastest and strongest animal per gram in the animal kingdom, just for anyone that wants to see. It has a strike video recorded at 20,000 fps by BBC when they were making a documentary of them at Berkley. It also explains why they do so much damage which is a strange water phenomenon that happens to boats.
