The used- cube was priced right and came with some extras ( Rio 6HF, canister filter we' 'll use on my wife's fresh water, timed control, upgraded lights, UV)- so I' not feeling as ripped off as I might have.
researched scratch repair --- thinking now, if I can' t find a good used tank, I' 'll just buy a new one.
