So i got some corals and frags today from a guy who had an ad on craifgslist. His tank was fab. But this is something i have never seen before. He rubberbanded the corals to lr. Is this safe on the coral?

Its the best way to get corals like GSP to attach to the rock :)
And they are easy to break away once you know the coral has attached!

The ones held on by the bands are kenya and a colt coral. I also got a xenia and some zoas with 2 tiny mushrooms on the lr.

Well I'm pretty excited. I'll put pics up as soon as I can. What kind of calcium should I be keeping up now? And I payed 35 for everything. That too much?

that sounds like a good deal! and those are all soft corals so need to worry about calcium
