Got some phos guard....

I was unable to find Marine SAT anywhere in Canada, and when I asked locals about it, they gave me a speech about snake oils, so I'm guessing it's not something well known here. I picked up some phos-guard, and am going to start running it soon. Is there any tricks I need to know using this stuff? I was just going to put it in the same bags I'm running the carbon in

I think a phosban reactor makes it way more affective.

I agree that it would make it more effective.But you can just put in the same bags that you use for carbon.
Be sure to rinse it with ro water before you use it.

Make sure the water can flow through it and not around the media.

I use my old canister filter for phosban and carbon. It work just as good as a reactor imo.
