green bubble tip

Fireplug

Reefing newb
My tank is 3 months old. Found a green bubble tip at the petstore on sale. He is about a half inch in size. My tank is 30 gallons. would it live in my tank being 3 months and not strong lighting yet but I have a plant bulb on it. If so what to feed the little guy?

No, i think you would have a fast disaster on your hands.

A plant bulb doesnt put out anywhere near the correct type or intensity of light you need for a nem. I dont even know if that type of bulb is ok for low light corals even.

Sorry, but better that you asked than it die on you and kill everything else in your tank.

I would pass. A bubble tip that's half an inch in size? They shouldn't be that size. They should be baseball sized or larger. That doesn't even sound like a BTA. Your tank isn't old enough, and your lighting isn't strong enough. Sorry. :(
