i have got this stuff coming up with my coraline but its green. anyone know what this could be.

it really doesnt look like algae though. it may be. idk. but it looks a lot more like lime green coraline.

It could very well be Green Coraline.
The more types of Coralline (green, pink, white, purple, red) that you add to your tank, the more you will see growing on your Live Rock, substrate and aquarium walls.

My green coraline actually grew faster in my tank than my purple did. And ya, it should be a "lime"/bright green color

So I'm a Jerk and decided to go turn the lights on in my tank so I could show you guys! =D
There's some Dark Blue and a few red spots but the Green is spreading FAST!!!
Tank is lil shy of month and a half now. Started seeing coralline forming bout 2 weeks ago and its growing fast! (the green neways)
Well I figured it was coralline b/c the snails and such go right over it w/o bother.

I hope they say it is coraline because I have noticed the exact same thing growing in my tank. I have also started to notice a dark dark red starting on the back glass and then a little on the front hopefully it is coraline as well. I ran my magnet cleaner over it and it took part of it off but not all.

:shock: No one knows :shock: They don't even know how to get different colors except from already colored rocks :shock::shock::shock:

i had an all white rock. i mean white. and then as it started to get coraline i noticed some green. only one rock in the whole tank has it right now. the rest have eithere purple or nothing. i will try and put a pick up tonight
