Green Mushroom vs Lobo

I left a loose Green Mushroom laying on the sand last night hoping it would attach to the pebbles. I come today and it is on top of the Lobo completely covered with brownish slime. At first I could not even recognize the mushroom. I pulled it off the Lobo. I can't tell whether the brown slime came from the mushroom or Lobo.

I just looked at it again and starting pulling the slime off the mushroom but there was nothing left of it. What was left of the shroom looked like melted mint ice cream. Sorry no pic but there was nothing left to look at.
