Reefing newb
Have a 75g cichlid up and running for about 6months now. Just started a 10g nano reef project. About 7 days into cycle right now. Just waiting for the ammonia to go down. *and wait* and *WAIT*:frustrat::grumble:

Hello and welcome to the forums! Post any questions you have and start your own reef build

Yea your going to need some patientence so that you don't add too much too quick

Welcome to the reef.
7 day into the cycle, and still waiting huh?
Thats one thing about this hobby, seems like you do a lot of waiting. But when the wait is over, its sure worth it.
Post any questions you have and remember to post pics.

since you are still waiting for the cycle, now would be a good time to look for a bigger tank and transfer all you have into the bigger one. Everyone that I know who has a tank that size really regrets it after a while. there is just not enough room to really get things going and that parameters get a bit touchy with that small a tank. If you can afford it, go bigger now while you are cycling. just put in more water and rock to the new tank and add what you already have. piece of cake now, but a bigger pain later.

Hi and welcome! Like Doc said, nanos are extremely challenging; they leave no room for errors. But, they are really beautiful and rewarding. Good luck, and feel free to ask any questions you might have.
