Yote ask a good question Jarock.Is it just that one head or is it the entire colony that's gone to mush?

Akalinity is a little low but not dangerously low.I do not believe that is the problem.Still,raising it slowly is a good idea.

halff of the colony died it started on the inside and moved its way to the one outside and died just half the one half side left

Like Yote mention,if that one head was damaged a secondary problem like brown jelly occurs.Hopefully,it will stop there and not spread.I'm sure removing the dead part wouldn't hurt either.
