    NDB and I are going over to a friend's house in a couple hours. I was working out of town today (in Phoenix) and I picked up a couple cheesecakes from The Cheesecake Factory. Nom nom nom.

    Hope you feel better.

    We stay home on New Years so we don't have to become a statistic with the drunks out there. I'll be having a few, along with a champagne toast at midnight, play ping-pong pool and air hockey with the wife and kids and eat lots of food.

    I got an oreo cheesecake and a dulce de leche cheesecake.

    Here's what I find amazing: They have like 30 different types of cheesecake on their menu. My favorite cheesecake of all time is a marbled cheesecake. White and chocolate swirled together. It's a very common type of cheesecake -- you can find it in the bakery section of pretty much any large grocery store. But The Cheesecake Factory does not carry a marbled cheesecake!! They have every other type of cheesecake you can possibly imagine -- Banana Cream Cheesecake. Kahlua Cheesecake. Carrot Cake Cheesecake. Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake. But no, not any marble cheesecake! WTF?!?!

    ALSO. Why are there SIX Cheesecake Factory restaurants in Phoenix, but ZERO in Tucson? Why do I have to drive 2 1/2 hours to get a damn cheesecake?

    And I am smelling the bacon wrapped scallops ... can't wait until they are done!
