Thanks for the welcome guys and girls. The marine conversion kit is a product from biorb/ube. Its mainly for converting tap water for your marine tank. I havent bothered doing this as im buying RO water from the store. However, it is nice to have the salt and chemicals handy as spares/emergency supplies. It also has some artificial life rock and plant media which will keep the tank looking nice for a week or two before i buy my first live rocks.
