Hey there! just wanted to introduce myself and hopefully get alot of good advice and feedbacks and im sure i will. Currently i have upgraded my tank from 29g to 55g and now 75g saltwater tank. I just upgraded a few months ago slowly adding new additions to the tank. Equipments: reef octopus bh1000 hob protein skimmer which is mounted on a sump, phosban reactor 150, 2 24" LED lighting, roughly estimated about 40-45 lbs live rock with about 15lbs of dry base rock. Livestock: 3 emerald crabs, 4 turbo snails, 15 red legged hermit crabs, and a purple tang. Reason for hob protein skimmer is when i had my 55g saltwater tank i couldnt have my tank drilled so i opted out for hob instead. but i am wondering if its ok to keep this hob protein skimmer or get the insump protein skimmer instead? Thanks in advance for any feedback or advice and very much appreciated. :D

If the skimmer you have is working for you, there is no reason to buy a new one.
