Hey there,
A buddy of mine has a nice 55gal tank that has small red branches/tubes growing out of the substrate. Any idea what they could be?

Im pretty sure its a type of worm that build a tube from the sand, you should see some white string looking things coming from the opening. Not anything to worry about.
