Help......Did I Fry My Torches

Reefing newb
I noticed some Flatworms on the coral so I gave em a 10 sec. dip n shake in freshwater, lots of FW came off, but now the coral seems to be shedding?
Do you think its done for?

LPS corals do not take well to freshwater dips. They are not normally exposed to freshwater where as some SPS and zoa's actually get exposed to the air/rain at low tides and they can easily handle it.
 
A better choice for LPS corals is an iodine dip. You can buy Lugol's Iodine at your LFS, or a special coral dip that contains the iodine in the right concentration already. Even so, I don't think the freshwater dip you did is long enough to kill the coral. At least, I hope not.
 
Its probably just in shpck. They tend to slime pretty good when they are stressed. It may be a form of defense.
 
I vote: shock and slime. They just look very stressed. Give them a week or so and I bet they'll be back. I don't think 10 seconds was enough to kill them.
