Help my BTA grow

What do BTAs need to grow bigger? I have a 25 gallon tank with a 4 bulb Nova Extreme on it. The reason I ask is that my torch coral is not bigger than the BTA and my clown is favoring it more. Needless to say the torch doesn't like that and is starting to retract a lot.

It may not be a size issue. The clown will go where it wants, and it may not want to be in the anemone no matter what else is in the tank! I'm not sure there's anything you can do to grow the anemone, maybe trade it in for a bigger one. But even if you do that, the clown may completely ignore it.

Okay. I thought it may just be size since she's been living with the nem for about a year now. Are torches pretty resilant to clowns? Or does it need protected?

The torch won't fare well unless it's much bigger than the clown. Clowns tend to beat LPS corals to death because they so aggressively snuggle into them.
