Help with Purple Algae Bloom

Whats the best way to deal with this Bloom

Looks like cyano.

What do you have for flow in your tank? How old it is? How many fish? How often/much are you feeding? What is your water source?

I started with Tap water and made it safe. Have done 4 water changes changing about 1/2 the water using Distilled water. the only water thing im using is a hang on the back Carbon filter and a 400 power head. and i feed my fish once a day

I only see 1 powerhead pointing up. You'll want 2 powerheads pointing down just enough to graze the sand bed without disturbing the sand. You have a HOB filter? Hopefully it's making enough ripples on the surface for O2 exchange.
