Help with splash guard

Ok i'm cleaning all the salt of my t-5 lights. Well I have no clue how to get this splash guard off to get to some of the salt inside. Any idea how to slide this off?

It should slide out one end of the light fixture. The end should screw on, and you can unscrew it and slide it out. The same way you would when you change the bulbs.

well i unscrewed the end and was able to clean out the salt. I tryed to move the splash guard but it seemed pretty set in place. :(

does it slide out on the other side, or maybe the whole thing pops off the bottom. what fixture is it

Ok was able to figure it out. It was just welded on with salt creep :)

Salt creep dont help with those covers.They fit tight as crap anyway.

Ya when its time to actually replace the bulbs, gonna run a razorblade thru to dislodge the salt Btw gonna be getting new pics up in my build thread soon with my latest fish buys over the past 2 months :)
