Help!!!!!

I have a sea fan that has dropped his crown. I know that it is a sign of stress is there any other reasons? I know shrimp molt so I hope the same here. I moved him from a 20 gallon tank to a 55 gallon tank almost a week ago. Water prams are .5 ammo, 8.0ph, no2 .5 no3 5ppm. Now I am stressed

Is there anything picking on the worm?That will cause them to shed the crown.

I have not seen anything picking on him I moved a power head today maybe to much flow

I've heard too much flow is bad for worms with crowns.

hopefully that is it. How long till new crown is made?

From what I understand they periodically drop their 'crown' and grow a new one - mine did... nothing to worry about (unless it doesn't grow back). took a few weeks until it was back to it's full size.

Was it a different color or the same?

it came back the same - looked a little diffferent as it was growing
