Help!!!!!!

I was killing apistatia with a pickling lime paste and accidentally squirted about 1 tsp of the paste into the tank. I couldnt get it out and the ph has gone from 7.9 to 8.3 in about 15 min. Can fish survive that or do i need to start dumping in vinegar. If so, how much? I got a 100 gal system.

i wouldnt really worry about it unless your fish start showing signs of stress

It should come back down i believe. Its the same as Kalkwasser

You're fine. No worries. You have plenty of water volume to handle 1 tsp of kalk paste.

Thanks guys, I'm gonna leave the light off for the rest of the day and I fed my fish in order to give the bio-load a kick and eat up some oxygen.
