Battle Dwarf
Was working in my stand and I guess the pump to my bio-pellet reactor wasnt plugged in completely . I bumped into the wire, the pump came on and a huge bubble came out and smells just like rotten eggs. I am guessing there was a build up of hydrogen sulfide under my pellets.

What can I do to correct this issue ?

Will it dissipate on its own ?

Water change ?

Any help is much appreciated

What I have done so far

NEW Water is mixing

skimmer is running to help maximize aeration.

stand doors are open to allow fresh air into stand

chemipure elite is running (i heard that carbon and phosphate absorb. media help)

also opened a window in living room to let fresh air in the room.

Id test your water to make sure nothing got stirred up, if it didnt i would remove the reactor running the pellets and then clean the unit.

I had the exact same thing happen to me when i moved my tank and forgot to start up the biopellet reactor for a few days.... I just let the biopellet reactor run, but disconnected the sump from the main tank. About 6 hours after I couldnt smell any more sulfur, i started up the return and everything was fine.
