What do you feed hermit crabs in sump? These came with the tank when I purchased it, and now are 2 large in my opinion to leave with my corals. So into the sump? What should I feed them without fouling the sump?

just a tiny bit of mysis or something twice a week, they hardly need anything in my opinion

I fed all my hermits to Jefferson Davis(my mantis shrimp).But the water flow through the sump will keep your hermits well fed.

there should be enough stuff collecting in the sump from your DT to keep the occupied

I would put a couple pieces of food in once or twice a week, but small pieces. They will get most of what they need from scavenging.

I have hermits in my sump. I give them nothing. I figure there's plenty of leftover. Man I hate them things.

My hermits love a little chunk of seaweed. You can tie or rubberband some to a rock and sink it.
