ok so i have heard good things and bad things about nanos, i have been told by a couple people that instead of getting a 29 gal nano that i would be better off getting a 20 gal with a 10 gal sump, what do you guys think and why?

Why not get the 29 gal and still put a 10 gal sump? more water means less water quality issues.

Cthegame is right, the smaller the tank, the more difficult it is to keep water parameters stable and high.

I vote for a nano with a hidden remote sump. Best of both worlds.

the bigger the better. Go for the 29 if thats what you like.
