    Hi my names Patty I currently have 14 freshwater tanks I am ready to jump into salt I will be getting a 30 gal this weekend so I am planning to start with a fish only tank till I become more experienced. I have been doing research put still have ?s I read this is the friendliest forum so I decided to join. :D

    Hello and Welcome!

    With a tank that small you cant keep very many fish (only 1 per 10 gallons) so i would suggest doing a reef. Plus many corals are easier than fish IMO!

    Saltwater is a very different ball game, the rules are different, the equipment is different. the fish are different etc, so please do your research!
