Hey, I'm a newbie working on my first saltwater tank. Going with a macroalgae pico tank starting off, maybe with a few small inverts. I know people generally recommend against starting with small tanks, but I'm hoping staying away from fish and corals will make things easier. I've been into freshwater for years, but currently just have a couple small tanks.
I don't know how much I'll be posting, but you might see me lurking from time to time.

Thanks! My pico is likely to be the "weird looking mess" type of pico. I'm using a 1g mini-bow (refitted the hood with LEDs) with a DIY sponge filter and doing high-end brackish (If I can find a good Opae Ula shrimp supplier, if not I'll go full-salty and do macros-only. I'm not crazy enough to try any other livestock in a 1g).
