high calcium levels

Reefing newb
I have a 60 gal reef tank and I can't get the calcium level below 640ppm. My ph is between 8.4 and 8.6, no amonia, or nitrites, nitrate a tad high. Is there anything on the market to reduce calcium or is it not high enough to worry about.

Thanks for your input:grumble:

Doing water changes would bring it down slowly. But I havn't heard what the effects of really high calcium could be? Besides it possibly precipitating?

Whats your alkalinity and magnesium levels?
Calcium being that high shouldn't really effect anything. But its high enough that it wouldn't take much to cause it to precipitate out.

What salt are you using and are you dosing anything? That calcium level is higher than any salt mix alone, so it's either a testing error or you are adding a calcium supplement.

The best way to lower calcium is by doing water changes with a salt that has a lower ca level.
