Holy huge pods Batman!

So last night I was creeping around my DT tank w/ a red light and I saw these HUGE amphipods. When I say huge there were about 1/4" or larger in length and fat! They were 10x the size of the largest pod I've ever seen in my tank. I have some fat mysis shrimp running around the fuge and these pods dwarfed them. I never knew they can get that big. Do you think they are breeding in my tank? Id like to be able to get a pic, but my camera will never be able to focus on the pods. It will be a close up of a hole in the rock. :grumble:

My 30g display is loaded with amphipods. There must be thousands of them in there. They look like little gray lobsters without the claws.

This is what I have in my 29 and my 20.

Thats weird. I wouldnt think those freshwater pods would last long in your tanks. :bounce::bounce::bounce::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::bounce::bounce::bounce:
