hey guys heres a recipe for a homemade fish food

1/4 lb scallops
1/2 lb squid
1 lb raw shrimp
4 baby octopus
12 oysters
1 lb mussels
1/4 lb cod fillet
1 packet frozen mysid shrimp and krill and brine shrimp (defrosted)
sea weed crumble with hand
bottled phytoplankton
finly chop with a hand chooper

then freeze flat and break off pieces when need
OR
you could use mini icecube trays
 
In short, selcon is like the vitamin supplement that we take. We don't have to have it, but it's just something extra.
 
to tell you the truth i just heard it somewhere

i havent nessacarily (spell check) tried it , but it just sounds good cause it adds a great vairity to all the fish in your tank, thus improving there health and color!!
 
I make my own too, It is much cheaper than prepared food. I do buy frozen too so they get more variety. It seems expensive when you buy all the ingredients but you have to figure it will be enough food for months. We eat the left over shrimp and such. Funny I am eating left over fish food, didn't think of that before.
