How can I raise alk without changing PH?

Any suggestions...my alk is really low.
Alk 1.7
PH is 8.6

1+ I use UNbaked baking soda all the time and my Ph stays right 8.3 but baked baking soda will raise Ph.

So just to make shore I get this. If you were to use baked baking soda it would raise akilinity as well with ph. ( same with a akilinity raising product as well. And unbaked baking soda will raise akilinity but lower ph to your desired levels. Is this correct.

yep. unbaked baking soda has a higher level of co2 so that drops the Ph and by baking the soda you drive out the co2 so it causes the Ph to rise
