How do you know if a pair of clowns are paired or not? Reason im asking is because i just got 2 percula clowns and they swim together everywhere, they swim apart sometimes but for the most part they are within 3-5 inches of eachother. Is there a way to tell if they are mated for sure?

Usually,a mated pair will sty close to each other,like yours are doing.
The smaller male will look like he's having seizures,kinda bowing in the middle and quivering right in front of the bigger female.

if they are a mated pair, they usually cost alot more because they have had eggs together, a regular pair will stay by each other like your are doing

they werent sold as a mated pair, im just hoping they pair up so they can both host the same anemone

If they aren't trying to kill each other, that's a good sign!!
